At DeepTicker we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have, in compliance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we collect
Data you provide to us
- Registration data: email, password (encrypted), optional name.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We do NOT store card numbers on our servers.
- Configuration data: configured capital, broker, tax residence, app preferences. This information is stored on your device (LocalStorage) by default. If you enable cloud sync, it is also stored on our servers.
- Transaction history: the positions you record manually in the app. Stored on your device.
Data collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent, actions performed (anonymised).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, browser language.

3. Purpose of processing
We process your data to:
- Provide the Service (show you signals, save your portfolio).
- Manage your subscription and process payments.
- Communicate with you (important notices, support).
- Improve the Service through anonymised statistical analysis.
- Send you commercial communications about the Service if you expressly authorise it.
- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
4. Legal basis
- Performance of the contract: to provide you with the Service.
- Consent: for commercial communications and non-essential cookies.
- Legitimate interest: to improve the Service and prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax and commercial regulations.
5. Retention
We retain your data for the duration of the subscription and, after termination, for the legally required periods (typically 6 years for tax data). It is then deleted or anonymised.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Stripe (payment provider, USA, under standard contractual clauses)
- Resend (sending of transactional emails)
- Hosting (servers in the EU)
- Competent authorities when required by law
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Eraseyour data (the "right to be forgotten").
- Object to the processing.
- Restrict the processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).

8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), regular backups, access control. Nevertheless, no system is 100% secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We will notify any significant change by email at least 15 days in advance. The updated version will always be available on this page.
